Krea 2 Image is now available via Partner Nodes

The Krea 2 Image node integrates into ComfyUI as a Partner Node, offering adjustable creativity, style references, and moodboard conditioning—marking Krea's debut foundational image model built from scratch. This component provides inputs for prompts, model choice, aspect ratio, creativity levels, moodboard settings, seed values, and an optional style reference image, granting direct control over output appearance and direction.

Model Variants

Two models are available: Krea 2 Large and Krea 2 Medium. Both share identical parameters and capabilities, differing primarily in size, post-training methods, and output characteristics.

Krea 2 Medium is a compact, quicker, and more economical alternative. Enhanced post-training ensures stable and consistent results across runs, excelling in illustration, anime, painting, and other artistic styles.

Krea 2 Large, over twice the size with lighter post-training, produces outputs that are more textured, flexible, and raw. It performs well in expressive tasks and is superior for photorealistic or unpolished visuals.

Aesthetic diversity

Krea 2 covers a broad spectrum of visual aesthetics, particularly excelling in artistic and expressive domains where other models often default to generic outputs. This versatility helps create results that avoid obvious AI-generated signatures.

Style transfer

Input a reference image into the style_reference field, and the model extracts and applies its style to your generation. This capability is a standout feature, positioning Krea 2 as a leader in style transfer applications.

Creativity

The creativity parameter offers four settings: Raw, Low, Medium, and High. Higher levels introduce aesthetic depth, interpretation, and visual richness, while lower settings prioritize strict prompt adherence. This control balances literal execution against the model's artistic input.

Moodboards

Moodboards provide precise visual direction for Krea 2. Create a moodboard on Krea's platform, copy its ID, and input it into the moodboard_id field. Use the moodboard_strength slider to adjust application intensity. Even basic prompts yield varied outputs based on the moodboard, making this essential for consistent art direction or studio workflows.

Getting Started

1. Update ComfyUI to the newest release or access Comfy Cloud.

2. Locate the Krea 2 Image node in the Node Library or load a template from the Templates panel.

3. Enter your prompt (and a source image if using style reference), connect outputs, and execute.
